L-PRF for healthcare providers

L-PRF can be utilized as a biomaterial in a wide range of applications, including the healing of chronic wounds (e.g., diabetic ulcers), surgical wounds, and various dental procedures. In the dental field, nine specific indications are discussed: alveolar ridge preservation, guided tissue regeneration, sinus floor elevation (crestal approach, one- or two-stage window approach), guided bone regeneration, recession coverage, wound bandage, and biomimetics. The preparation of L-PRF matrices is critically important, as even minor deviations from the standard procedure can significantly impact the clinical outcome.
